Metmar began its journey in 1946 under the name Metallurgica Marchigiana, initially operating as a cooperative focused on producing metal furnishings for hospitals. This early phase marked the beginning of a long-standing industrial path built on innovation, craftsmanship, and expertise in light metal fabrication. In 1969, driven by the vision of nine founding partners, the company transitioned into Metallurgica Marchigiana Srl. While preserving its artisan roots, it began evolving toward a more structured and dynamic industrial model, enabling broader production capabilities. Thanks to a strong entrepreneurial drive, the company experienced rapid growth: expanding its facilities, adopting cutting-edge technology, and establishing itself as a regional leader in custom metal fabrication for both industrial and civil construction. In 1975, with increasing demand on a national scale, the company relocated its headquarters from its original site to the industrial area of Montecassiano. This strategic move allowed Metmar to boost its productivity and respond efficiently to the needs of a growing market in industrial steel structures. From 1987 onward, the company continued expanding its operations, reaching over 20,000 m² of total area—including 12,000 m² of covered production space. Today, Metmar stands as a benchmark in Italy for advanced light metal fabrication, delivering customized solutions with precision, quality, and reliability.
